Our first guest mix is made by Orenburg-based teenage producer Albert Damscray, one of the sickiest boys behind the Russian downtempo scene currently signed with Dutch independent netlabel Humanworkshop. Damscray has been producing music since the age 12 using the samples from different sources that aren’t readily identifiable such as hard-to-find jazz, soul and psychedelic rock, art-house and vintage western movies doing his trick through the usage of sound editing software at his old PC. His Gimme5 mix is a perfect mash-up of the most favorite Damscray's musical genres and persons as it goes up from power dnb tunes and sticky breakstep basslines to claustrophobic broken beats and 70s' psychedelic rock. Shake it hard!
